Above all else, our goal is to promote and perpetuate evidence based social change in Howard County, Maryland communities that will benefit most from it. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of Howard County.

As one of hundreds of Junior League chapters across the world, we are a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). Established in 2020, the Junior League of Howard County plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of Howard County, Maryland.

Our Local Impact

  • Community assistance grants and volunteer assistance: The Junior league of Howard offers support to nonprofit agencies operating in Howard County through community action assistance.

The Junior League of Howard County Human Trafficking Awareness Project seeks to end human trafficking by spreading awareness throughout Howard County and the surrounding counties. Working with a network of community partners and government organizations, we strive to

  • Educate the community about human trafficking.
  • Advocate for victims and the organizations that serve them.
  • Build partnership networks to help fight human trafficking together!

Junior League of Howard County’s mission is to provide advanced training opportunities that prepare our members to serve as civic leaders and advocates combating vital issues.
